    Congratulations to you and your son on a great success. Don't you love the milestones that life offers?

    I don't know anything about having a child or being a parent. But I do know what it is like to grow up with a mother who loves you. Your words remind me so much of my own mother. You are such a great person (and I don't even know you but it's so clear as the day is long).

    Urban - I do love these times when I can sit back a moment and watch the hard work pay off...it's temporary, but these moments make it easier to go back to the grind tomorrow...

    Congrats to your son. It is so hard when they reach this age and you realize they are going up. . .fast. My son is only 8 but, my daughter is 12 and will be 13 in August.
    She is as tall as me and developing in all the right places. I just want her to stay my little babydoll.
    Like you they are my reasons why.

    I like you believe that children need their father regardless of what has/is happening between the parents. I really wish people would understand that when they are using the child in the midst of their battles.
    Congrats to your son once again. And to you for being a loving, supportive, and caring mother who loves unconditionally. Because, of that he will grow into a wonderful black man.
