I was born and raised in Los Angeles. We endured many a beat-down from the Boston Celtics when I was a kid ... I loved it when we turned the tables in the 1980s ... and I'm counting on the 2008 Lakers to keep it going. Kobe was a child when he came into the league ... he is a different brother now. His game was always there ... but, now he understands that he will do better with a team than alone ... and the Lakers gave him some players this year.

Can you say Kwame Brown? Ish, nobody could win with that brother on the team.

Anyhow, I have the Lakers winning the series in five games ... which means that I hope you enjoyed tonight's game as that will be the last one for the Celtics this year. Sorry KG...

I haven't watched NBA since my Wizard's got expeditiously axed off weeks ago! I am just now finding out it is the Lakers and Celtics battling it out. SMH!

my Lakers lost the first one. we'll get them next game though. Kobe won't let them lose two straight.
