    In the context of high creative photography is par for the course until you look past it, and you only l have to look a smidgen past it to realize that.

    I've seen the whole series of photographs at another site, and to me, in a series, they seem more dangerous , less provocative in general and more indicative of a racism the artist had to have been aware of.

    Of the several different ways I can interpret these photographs not one of them is non offensive to me and it is because no one is unaware of the history and the discourse which circulates around that history. I haven't posted on these photos anywhere else because I needed some time to think about them, but there are too many times when art and artists do what they do with little care for what they are really saying.

    So on first look I was immediately drawn to the beautiful Black men! I just ignored the woman all together. From an artistic stand point it's a beautiful shot. Brown skin in black & white photography is just so beautiful when the lighting is done correctly. I love the contrast and deep shadows.

    Now lastly, the shot made me think of the LeBron & Gisele cover of Vouge. I'm reserving judgement until I find out the context of the image.

    Happy WW! The images are powerful and cause you to take a closer look ... which is the goal of any photographer I imagine. I would have preferred that the woman in the photo have more melanin ... but, then I 'spose the photo would not have the shock value of seeing all of these 'bucks' with the 'white mistress' of the house.
