The Crosswalk
What you may want to try is getting out of bed. Wash, get dressed and then turn the door nob. Don't plan where you are going. Just walk... Get lost even... You'll may discover something new on the way. You may meet someone new. Who knows...
I will take your advise, though...maybe I'll take the dog for a walk instead of letting my son do it...
What were the things you always wanted to do, but couldn't because you were working? Continue to write and share your voice.
Do you exercise? How are your eating habits? Maybe it's time to embark on a new you in more ways than one.
I know my problems seem minute compared to the bigger things going on in the world, but I know that I am blessed and that God is with me at all times...
And as far as the exercise and eating habits? You may just be right about that part of the "new me"...it's something I need to focus on...
I'm a new poster and I stumbled upon your blog on a whim. I have to tell you that I understand where you are coming from.
I lost my mother a little over 2 1/2 years ago and I lost all my passion and zest for life. I stumbled around aimlessly helping others but never taking time for myself.
It wasn't until recently a light went off and I knew I had to change. Someway, somehow.
I agree with the previous poster. Some days all you can do is get up, get out of bed and the house and see what the day brings. A change of surroundings (even if it's brief) does wonders. I know it helps me, if I'm feeling clogged up...I go for a run, I go dancing or to a nearby cafe and I blog.
Keep your head up.
You are the third person to tell me to get out of the house...I'm taking the advice...
I don't know, I went out this weekend, felt wonderful, started another site now, I am like blah about the whole thing.
I think I start out with high hopes but, I allow little snippets of doubt to sneak in.
I need to stay out. That's when I feel good, get my ideas flowing, and I am full of high hope again.
I like to take my notebooks out to the park, sit, and write.
And as you so rightfully said, you stay in prayer. He'll send you a sign soon that will let you know everything is going to be alright. You took a huge leap of faith and He won't let you fall.
*hugs*
::hugs:: right back atcha...and thanks...
Whatever your path keep the faith and endure the winter season, spring is just around the corner [spiritually speaking].
