Talk that talk sista!

I appreciated your commentary on Colin Powell and the current state of the 2008 POTUS race.

I agreed totally with you about Tom Brokaw. I figure he was the safe choice to host that program. I'm still waiting on them to make the 'long-term' choice after the election is over...

Hello Marvalus,

Mr. Colin Powell knows that timing is everything. He timed his endorsement from President Barack Obama when he thought it would have the most impact.

Mr. Tom Brokaw's line of questioning turned my stomach this morning because it was clear that he had a hidden agenda. Mr. Powell had eloquently addressed all the issues Brokaw tried to spin to no avail. But Colin didn't cooperate.

Thank God we have about 15 more days to put up with this political process. I can't wait to see President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama move into the Whitehouse. Imagine that!!

Timing is everything...and the way Mr. Powell gave his endorsement says a lot...

Tom Brokaw is not right for this job at MTP...period.

Gen. Powell's endorsement was well thought out and insightful. We all know the media needs to frame everything for ratings. What Obama and the American people have built over the course of 20 months, can not be destroyed. It is too late to stop the immoveable force and I am SO glad that I am alive to see this.

Nothing that happens in the Obama campaign is by chance. Everything - every aspect of it - is deliberately and methodically thought out and planned. Up to and including the Powell endorsement. I really believe that he (obama) knew this endorsement was coming his way probably as far back as April. This looks like a no-trump boston with 4 aces being played here to me.

It ain't no way that That One could raise 150 million have 100K at a rally in St. Louis and not be much further ahead than the polls are showing or being reported. In my side of the plantation, we are early voting and its being reported that dems are out voting repubs 3 to 1 so far. I know that anything can happen...but, anything better happen fast if Lt. Dan expects to win this election.
