The Crosswalk
Awesome post. It is often times hard to find something good in a sea of garbage! I'm glad that you have taken the high road with your thoughts and feelings, that is honorable. I'm also glad that you are blessed with a "Baby Daddy" who is doing what he is supposed to be doing with your child! That is hard to find today!
Blessings!
You've touched on so much. I can relate to the absence of a father. Seeing a father raise other children and not making the time for you is tough. But I digress.
I'm so happy that you and your Baby's Daddy get along and that he is apart of your son's life. Within the context that you use the term, "Baby's Daddy, is fitting. So don't think twice about it.
@Urban Thought - It is a tough thing for a daughter to stand on the outside and watch her father love two other daughters...I've carried all that around with me for so long, but I'm ready to let it go now...
One of the best things in life is watching a child with his/her father and I am blessed to be able to say that I get to do that.
@Gina - Thank you Gina...for your comment and visit!
This post really touch my heart. I didn't grow-up with my father, but as I got older we became closer, and when my mom passed, he was in my life to feel the void. Now we are closer than ever, and I thank God for the timing. My mother never spoke bad about him and always lifted him up.
Happy Father's Day to you to!
Anyway my post is up...
Fathers are important.
Wed be better off with more of them, good ones though.
@cooper - Thanks Coop...and we sure do need the good ones!
