I was just getting ready to do one of these. I need some serious feed back, to help regain my motivation for MGV. :idea:
I really like hearing your personal thoughts and your take on so many topics. I like this blog because you are not painted into a box, you can discuss anything. How about a topic of the week...(Real Talk series)...

Hey there!
What always brings me to a blog is that I have a connection with the writer.
Even if I do not agree with the writer, I will re-visit the blog if I have a connection with the objectives that the writer communicates for the blog.
I have wuite a few blogs listed on my blog roll. I seldom comment on those blogs but I read them!
I also like to see bloggers present a different viewpoint of an issue that may be addressed at a bunch of other blogs. it is interesting to read the blogs of those writers who are willing to examine an issue from an angle that black people seldom embrace.
There are blogs that will link to a post from another blog and spend a half of a page saying essentially the same thing the other writer already communicated. What's the point? Link to another post if there is another level to go in the conversation!
I also like a blog that has interesting conversation and input from the bloggers.
I hope this feedback is helpful in some way. (smiles)

Hi. I agree with the others--I don't care what you talk about, just talk. But I do like it when you talk about pop culture--celebrities, movies, TV shows, etc. Ya knao I like it shallow like that sometimes... :-)

Since I've discovered your blog I just enjoy reading whatever you write about. Write about whatever, I know sometimes it gets hard to think of something, than just write what's in your heart or mind at that moment.
An aside: There's no more topics for Old School Fridays after the current one, it's not ending is it? I've really enjoyed this and look forward to it every week. Thanks for thinking it up.

You know what you don't talk about? Your personal life. I know you talk about your thoughts, but I'd like to read about some personal interactions and/or scenes with your son, your job, your love life (such as it is, according to you, haha).
You don't have to get too involved, but I think it would be really amusing.
