This is TOO funny. That Al B Sure Killing Me Softly was a great pick because two of us already picked the most popular remake. I forgot about this one. You go girrrrllll.
K-Ci and JoJo...good choice  I think I prefer original though for obvious reasons!

You did dig that Al B Sure out of the crates. I'm still going with my Lauren though. Something about the gumby/high-top curl on the head I'm not too sure about. But its classic.
That Stevie Wonder joint is the ish that is in the iPod. I have to appreciate that one hands down. Excellent selection.
I think K-Ci & Jo Jo are the hits of the three. But that is just my opinion.

I thought about putting Nothing Compares. I'm glad I didn't. :) Killing Me Softly is a classic - Roberta's version. Heck even the Fugees version could have gone here.

Al B. Sure still reminds me of the guy in New Jack City (smile).
It is nice to see hip-hop stars show some chops in an ol' school song. Props to them for doing so.
Who is the woman singing the first song? I thought she did a great job with it...

I didn't check what the theme was for old scool Friday but, I fell into it anyway.
I like Al B's version of killing me softly but, Ms. Roberta Flack will always be my favorite.

Love Sinead O'Connor singing Prince's song. What can I say about K-Ci and JoJo? I miss them; where are they?

Sinead ripped that song. One of the few people that covered his Royl Badness and bring something truly beautiful & original to the.
Loves me some unibrow, but the original is better. ;)
KC and JoJo tore that song up.

I use to wear that Jodeci cassette out, I actually like this version better than Stevie Wonder, even though I can't tell what they are saying at times.
Killing Me Softly has three great remakes, Roberta, Al B Sure, and Fugees. I like all version of the song.
I forgot about Sinead O'Connor.

I love Sinead O Connor on this song! I hate Al B Sure on this song (and I am not even a fan of the song!), he should have stopped after Night & Day! I like KC & JoJo but you can't touch Stevie Wonder! Have a great weekend!

Great choices. I was wondering who was going to post Sinead O'Connor's version of Prince's song. She did a good job. And I'll go with Stevie on the original.
