Yeah! These are some really great choices for the Artist. I have a feeling that today is gonna be real scandalous! Can't wait to make the rounds. Might be a bit surprised as one of my all time Prince jams! :oops:

Yup yup missy! Scandalous and Adore are part of my mix over at the spot. I even managed to find the Scandalous vid for ya if you wanna take a peak. That song make me wanna do some thangs ;)

As you know, Adore was #2 on the SB Countdown. So you know it was on all of our lists. I swear I'm walking down the aisle to that. LOL!

Even if we were allowed to choose 10 of our favorite Prince songs, it still would have been hard to narrow down the list. That's how bad the boy is. Excellent choices on your part and a good way to start Friday.

I was here late last night listening to Scandalous before turning off the computer. ;) Unfortunately, his royal highness or his watchdogs monitor YouTube for copyright infringement. Darn it! So, I figure I'll enjoy Prince elsewhere than at my spot this week.

U've choosen 2 of my favs...there r just so many that I "Adore"! Presently, I'm diggin', "Satisfied" (from "3121") and "Somewere Here On Earth" (from "Planet Earth")...but that chould change at an moment's notice :grin:

Sorry - I entered Ms.Marvelous and saw your Prince post there and posted a comment.

As I said there I think it's a shame when artists get so per-snippity about anyone else posting their music - or at least a small sample of it.

I understand not wanting their music downloaded for free, they do have a right to payment for their talent......BUT a small sample of a song is a good way to promote it and get publicity.

Scandalous is definitely a great one, and like you say there are so many to choose from. Gotta say I really wish my all-time favorite musician (aside from Jimi Hendrix) would spend more time creating great music and less trying to be such a control freak. But hey. He is the Prince, so whatcha gonna do?

Anyway, great choice.

I went with probably the predictable choice, I just love Purple Rain. It was the song that brought me to him and I still get goose bumps when I hear it.

Well, first let me say I LOVE YOUR BLOG TOO! :)

Second - I am really contemplating joining y'all and your OSF sessions!

I went to see Prince two years ago and boy, that was an experience. There is NOTHING like the royal purple one. Nothing compares. As for Adore, definitely one of my favorites, next to Insatiable, Seven and Raspberry Beret. And I am sure I can go on and on...lol
