    Happy OSF! Tevin always seemed too young to be singing that song to me. I really like a lot of Teena Marie songs from back in the day, including this one. Good selections my sista!

    I agree too, Danielle...but that voice is incredible!

    And Lady T...I was just browsing around YouTube last night and came across it...I think I played this song 5 times last night...couldn't get enough!

    Some wonderful choices. Tevin seemed like he was under a lot of pressure growing up. I think his protege Prince should of taken more time with him.

    Now LADY TEE...shoot, she was the "white/black queen" back in the day. The combination of her and Rick was unstoppable.

    I don't remember this tune from Teena, but I sure remember that club song she did. Don't want to name it because it's something I will be posting in a forthcoming OSF.

    Dee - Thanks...he does seem to have been under a lot of pressure...I think you either make it or break it in that business and that you do need to have someone watching you almost 24/7 along the way...I would say that someone dropped the ball on Tevin...

    "Please be gentle..." Today people are coming with their A game, I have heard songs that I forgot existed.

    Teena Marie song makes me want to bring out my Teena Marie hits CD. This is just a great song to sing, even if you can't sing.

    I miss Tevin. I really do. I can still see myself watching so many of his vids when they 1st premiered. I remember him and Prince together and Tevin singing "Round & Round". Sigh

    Lady Tee is The Business. Period.

    ooo, I love Tevin Campbell, he definately had talent and I loved "Can We Talk"!! Even though I agree with the general concensus he was definately too young and it showed in the out come of his career.

    "please be gentle" love the song, but can't name the artist, but I remember a smoky basement, red lights...

    I LOVE TEENA MARIE! Enough said!!

    Please Be Gentle is by Frederic (I think)...I can't even remember...I heard it on the radio the other day and just had to have it here!

    I love Tevin Campbell I really want hiim to make a comeback! I love Tevin's second album "I'm Ready" that CD was a huge hit and a classic R&B album!

    O - Those first two Tevin CDs were the shit! I was totally on the "Tevin Train"...and I hate that we lost him...I know he was working on Broadway, but I need to know he can do an album; he still has a lot of fans left out here...

    Whew! You are grooving over here! You know that feeling you get when GOOD music starts playing....the tingle. I felt it on ALL three. Great stuff. Music is definitely my therapy and glad to connect with people that feel the same.

    Wait...did someone say they didn't know this joint? Take me now lawd! I may have to do a Teena tribute over at my place. I just purchased her greatest hits ironically.
