The Crosswalk
Method Man was on tv the other day (a repeat of an old show) doing one of his songs (raps) I had to go look him and all his videos up.
I've gotta tell you Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack is the one that does it for me. I'm through now and can die happy. Must confess I've never been much of a Mary J. Blige fan. Her voice has never been that strong to me, and too many times I've seen her veer off-key, which is hard for me to take. But Donny and Roberta? Oh yeah.
I had to go with The Righteous Brothers - and because they were my favorite male duo from my "young love" years I posted the meme on my Road To Diva Blog, lol.
Have a great OSF!
My OSF is a bit of a departure from what you generally hear at SjP's. Hope you enjoy!
My first thought was to pick Mary J Blige and K-ci, back in the day when they were in love, but this Bono song is a better choice.
Mary J has quite a few hits when it comes to the duets, the first song of course is the best by far...
Then I thought of posting Elton John and Luther dueting on Anyone Who Had A Heart.
We were definitely on the same wavelength today soul sista! VERY nice picks. Happy OSF!
