Well, their marketing people certainly knew how to market them. "I can't wait to get to school ..." lyrics. :-) If I had been a teen when they were out, I would've been swooning.

This group so reminds me of my younger brothers and his friends back in the day. Happy OSF.

Wow--I had forgotten that Troop song. What happened to them?

I miss the male bands with singers who actually harmonized. Maybe now that all the rappers are singing, the powers that be will start signing real signers again.

    Happy OSF!

LOL! I know you're talking about Que and MTB4. Yes, back in the day when all the drama wasn't televised, and even if there was drama like in the case of New Edition, the music was still good.

My favorite song is not on here, Spread My Wings, but it's okay, my second and third favorite are.

My husband made a mixtape for me with AlI I Do.

I love Troop! The male groups need to make a come back (the good ones!).
I loved think of you but I must agree with Ms Grapevine, Spread my wings was my JAM!!

one thing about you is that you are consistently good with your choices. Not that I want to remember the high top fades that we wore, but the 90s were cool. Again, great pick as usual and enjoy your weekend.

Troop- great vocals. I've never heard them. Lovely for a late night treat.

Never really got into the boy groups - tad "after my old school days". But, must say they are just "cute" ::smile::

Aaaaaaah Troop! LOL I think I played their music until my whole neighborhood got tired of me. I used to be in the record store 24/7 when I was younger. I made friends with the guy at Nubian Notions (Boston stand up!) and one day he told me to stay in the store because Troop was coming. I stayed for two hours and watch the line start to form around the building while I stood inside. They showed up and I took photos of the group. He told them I had been there for hours and they gave me tickets to the show that night. Y'all couldn't have told me nothing that day LOL. Sorry for the blog post in your comments, but this brought me way back. :D

I know I don't stop through as often as I should. Chargw it to my head and not my heart. However; daaaaaaang!!! I see that I should not be so delinquent so often.

    Great selections!!!
