The Crosswalk
Mr. Beckham was once voted the Most Favorite Black Man in Britain because of his "Negro" tendencies. Have you seen pics of him in cornrows? There are no words. He's lovely to look at and has a high pitched Mickey Mouse voice. :-)
Jaheim has one of the most beautiful voices I've heard in a long time. I wish he'd drop the "thug" persona and just sing dammit!
Joe is cool. He's a smooth Brotha, but he's never really blown up. I liked the song he did w/Chico DeBarge who had a fantastic album until he caught cases and got sent to the hooskow all over again.
You know who I also dig? Lyfe Jennings. He's got that raspy "If You Think You're Lonely Now" thing going on. He has this cut called "Let's Stay Together" that is my ish girl. He is preaching on that song.
I also loves me some Anthony Hamilton. That 1st album of his was some serious soul music. Brotha man was sangin' NOT singing. My fave cut is "Coming From Where I'm From". The 1st sentence just gets me everytime. "Sitting here guess I didn't make bail. Got time and a story to tell." That is some good ish right there.
I also dog that Van Hunt. His 1st album was so damn good words can't describe it. "Down Here In hell" and "Seconds of Pleasure" were on constant rotation.
I dig that Irish Boy Colin Farrell. Me and Colin could do some things. ;)

I really want Jaheim to realize that we get the "thug" thing...I just want to hear you sing, bruh...
I love Anthony and am totally in love with Lyfe Jennings...ooh, that first Lyfe Jennings CD had me in tears at some points...Anthony be telling some stories in his songs, don't he?
Colin Farrell...definite cutie...
