Good list even if I don't agree with some of your choices (will above Pacino and De Niro) but it's your opinion and I respect that ! Oh and YES Denzel is the man ! Can't Wait for American Gangster !!!

You know what Goya...you are right...I made a mistake and meant to put Will at #9 instead of #7 (I mean he's fine at all, but fineness does not make you better than Al Pacino...What?!?)...

I can't wait for American Gangster either...another Denzel classic!!!

    Thanks!

Forrest, Samuel, and Denzel can all be found in "The Bible Experience." My favorite is Sidney Poitier. Samuel L. Jackson plays God in The Bible Experience. If you like them, you should see how they do as voices in an audiobook.

Oh, I know...I can't wait to get my hands on it...those voices reading the Bible? Wow!

Spot on about Sidney; I wrote about my crush for him on my blog...

Sidney Poitier is a King...that is truly the only way to describe him...he is someone to revere, someone you almost feel like you have to bow to and kiss his hand...such a beautiful man and soul and spirit...ahh...

Surprise! No female actress! But i love these ten, too.ESp,Morgan Freeman.I know many people on interracialmatch.com love him very much. He is indeed a great actor.
Although he didn't have a handsome appearence(my own opinion),he has a mettle no one can compare with him.

Hey Debby...thanks for visiting...there were too many talented actresses to include in this list so there will be a separate list next Monday (be sure to come back to see)...

I've come to think of Samuel Jackson as overrated... he just never seems to move beyond the two-dimensional characature any more.

But you're right on the money with Denzel, Don Cheadle, Forrest Whitaker, & Morgan Freeman. Those guys are simply stellar!

I'm starting to think Terence howard may be worthy of landing on that list too - it's all about the right material with him.

And you've left off Lawrence Fishburn. If you haven't seen "Akeelah & the Bee," you're missing out on a very tender, conservative role for him that was a real breath of fresh air.

And I'm kinda partial to Delroy Lindo. He's not cast in enough stuff, but a classy guy nonetheless.

SLJ has not lived up to his work in Pulp Fiction and Jungle Fever...but you have to admit he has chops, I think...

Terrence Howard is coming up, and I love him, I just didn't have a place for him...maybe I should have done an honorable mention...hmmm

Oh no! I would never leave off Lawrence Fishburne! He's at #5...After portraying Ike Turner the way he did, he would never be left off of any of my top actor's list...ever!

    Thanks for visiting!
