The news about Kanye's mom is STILL hard to absorb. Life is so short and it is so unfortunate to hear of a lost of such a great black woman-a great woman period! I do not have the best relationship with my mom either. Things with my mom and dad are just not the same as they used to be when I was younger and under their rule. But I obviously still love my parents very much; without them, there is no me for that I love them even more.
I should make it my aim to get past my differences with mom and dad and tell them how much they mean to me before it is too late. I can only hope they are thinking the same when it comes to me.
People fail to realize that it doesnt matter how she died but that someone lost their mother...people are so mean.

I had to put aside my issues with my mom and just let her be who she was going to be and accept who I was...it was hard to put aside all the craziness and hurt but I did because I chose to. Now, I still wouldn't call us the best of friends, but we are at least on easy enough terms where we can be in the same room and be mother and daughter (whatever that means)...I don't know what I would do if something happened to her, I do know that...
