    Thank God for teh blogosphere. I swear I wouldn't know as much as I do were it not for the great people out there. Our lives don't amount to anything to the world of mainstream media. I hope she is found and I can't imagine the agony of her loved ones right about now.

    I admit...if it weren't for Black Perspective, Electronic Village, O Hell Nawl, and other blogs like ours, we wouldn't know a thing...thank God we've created a network of consciousness where we can keep each other informed...I'm glad to be a part of it and glad I can offer my support in any way I can...

    My prayer definately go out to her and her family. I pray that they find peace and clousure in this situation. Our society is not set up to care for us which is why the black family as a whole unit is so important. This family will definately need a strong support system.

    I have not read of the case above yet. I have read yet again about them re-arresting Natalee Holloway's suspected murderers. The blond chick from a well to do family has managed to garner the interest of media for over two fucking years.

    Mine too, Regina - I can't even imagine what that family is going through...

    Coop - I pray for Ms. Holloway's family, but even I'm tired of hearing about her case when the mdedia doesn't even bother to breathe a word about any of the many other females that have gone missing since Natalee...and she remains in the news! Where is the justice? Where is the equality?

    It is definitely unacceptable that her case would fall below the radar like that! Unfortunately, similar situations have happened in Canada (where I'm from) in regards to crimes against women of colour not garnering adequate media/ police concern...
