    Oprah puts her money where her mouth is. Makes it easier to handle the annual weigh issues stories. We have motivated, smart, innovative, creative kids all over the country. Its too bad those in their lives (family or not) have such low expectations for them.

    That's not good news... That's great news. The school deserves it and Oprah was doing how she always does, giving back. The real reward is the great education that these children will walk away with.

    I agree...I saw this video initially and thought it was so cute...then I heard the story behind it and it touched my heart to learn more about the school. What an awesome environment!

    Oprah is certainly gifted in the giving department, and I know education is so important to her. Good news indeed for the academy and those recipients of a full scholarship.
