I've known about the Dunbar Village situation for awhile and because it is black on black, "leadership" doesn't speak up. We bury our pathology and predatory, murderous behavior towards each other, but blow up any situation when someone else attacks us. It's fucked up and sick Marvelous.
I don't know what to say about Barry Bonds. He's an "example" and gives credence to the fact that just because you're paranoid doesn't mean ppl aren't out to get you. Interesting timing indeed girl.
I'm not an American Idol watcher and became of Elliott about a month or so ago. Gorgeous voice and I wish that he would do more with it. It's too fantastic a gift to be wasted. I hope that he can find a good producer, do some writing and put out some music that reflects who he is. Loved his Donny Hathaway Cover from the Idol finals. Sheer beauty.
I feel for Keyshia. I know the challenges of dealing w/a mother who is troubled. I wish Keyshia all the best because it won't be easy for her. I hope she has a support system as well. Proping up others and burning yourself out to get other folks on teh right track is draining and she is not wonder woman. She's a vulnerable young lady who struggles like we all do.
I'm TOTALLY turned out by "Lesson Learned" by Alicia & John Mayer. Those lyrics SPEAK girl.

LMAO @ John Mayer. I think alot of sistah's are "secretly" in love w/JM. That's 1 soulful man. I was listening to Continuum and my man is PREACHING on that album. :-) I'm also listening to Voodoo by D'Angelo right now. Girl can I tell you how that CD NEVER left my CD player @ the time it came out. Sexy, sophisticated, cool and brilliant to me.

I know I am...I have listened to Continuum so much I think we are actually talking to each other! I just feel like we are in a room together, talking...ooh! And I love his Village Sessions (the acoustic CD)...the acoustic version of In Repair does me in, almost makes me cry!

i really do hope that barry bonds gets some serious time! he is really making the black community look bad, not by taking steroids, but by lying his ass off. what a great example to set for all of those young black kids that look up to him! i mean, how stupid can a nigga be!?
i love keyshia's show. i have been watching it since last season and this season and turning out to be even better than the first.
Barry never said he did'nt use steroids he said at the time he did'nt know they were steroids. This is a total witch hunt, you spent 4 years of investingating him to come up with this? Oh and how is it that only his info gets leaked to the press as opposed to the other atheletes on the Michelin report? Victor Conte gets 4 months and barry may get 30? Thats like giving a crack dealer probation and throwing the crack head under the jail! Wait let hold on to this for my blog or else Ill fill this spot up.
