Queen Latifah is gay?!?!
LOL, who did not know this, the suprise is how long she thought she was keeping a secret.
Funny thing is I do not think men will care but I think women might be turned off by her. Plus she may have just have boxed her self in the supporting role catagory.
Considering the limited roles for women of color she can now scratch off romance movies off the list (well at least with dudes). But hey as long as she is happy.

I think most men figured her for gay anyway, (I did), plus gay women are not percieved as a threat to men as gay men are. I mean think about it, most women did not have a problem with a gay man in the late 90s, some can name a one or two as friends. But I have met women who will hang out with gay men go to their clubs call them up on the phone ect, but a gay women is a problem. I think it has to deal with insecurities. The tide in attitude changed with the Down Low idea. That is when women started to think of gay men as a threat. Men we never see women that way. In our minds if she is not into me or going to invite me to the party than who cares what she does.
It is a self centered way of thinking but one that comes naturally. I know women who have seen Brokeback Mountain (I was tricked into watching it by a lady friend)but do not know any men who have or will admit they have. Men will watch pornos with lesbians but not gay men. With women it is the opposite.
The problem with Latifah is that she may have alienated women particularly black women, and we dudes really do not go out of our way to watch women centered movies anyway unless coaxed by a women (i.e a date movie) so she maybe assed out.

OK...I kinda always thought she was a lesbian myself...I think the opinion has always been that she is gay...at least among people that I have spoken to...I happen to have gay male and female friends so I can feel your argument on that one...

on latasha norman's murder - her punk_ss boyfriend should get the death penalty for that senseless murder of that young lady!

on sean taylor's murder - they caught the young n_gga's that burgularized taylor's home and murdered him. 17, 18, 19, and 20 year olds; what the h_ll!? these little n_ggas should be tortured! they should be shoot in the legs and left to bleed to death. seems like exact and fair punishment to me!

on lauren/lil' wayne - why!? why!? why!? lauren...babygirl, why do you want to get hooked up with dope-head n_gga!? she could clearly do SO much better! she is a very pretty young woman, but i definitely don't think she is as bright as i thought she was. d_mn! d_mn! d_mn! d_mn!

on queen latifah - i am really disturbed by this, but i really don't know why. i love the queen; she is so big and fine; what a waste! again.....d_mn! d_mn! d_mn! d_mn!

on mary j. blige - i am more of a fan of mary's earlier work when she singin' heavily about that ugly little gremlin-lookin' n_gga jojo.
