It sounded amazing. Maxwell is coming in October, and although I've seen him before, I just need some refreshing music.

I missed John Legend, I think he was here Jenifer Hudson. I probably should have gone.

No, I can't believe you have a crush on John Legend.

I don't think Maxwell is going to be near me...I think that means a road trip is in my future!

My crush is on Jamie, not John...but John will do. Any man that can sing and play the piano makes me...well, nevermind...LOL...

I don't know why I wrote crush on John, I meant crush on Jaime. I can't believe you have a crush on Jaime Foxx,

LOL...I know, right? It's the piano and singing thing...I've been crushing on Jamie since, wow...I can't even remember...

Great concert review and photos. I'm linking, I think some of my readers might be interested on your perspective when it comes to the show. I agree, artists who are "about the music" are rare nowadays and Legend is a great example of that . . . It's also cool that he's able to have fun with his music and "green light" is one of my favorite tunes from last year.

Thank you very much Tony! I remember when I didn't have to pick and choose the music that I listen to...it's a sad thing. But artists like JL give me a glimmer of hope...

    I appreciate the link...

I'm glad you made it. You got to see Jill and now this dude. Two great artist. They both know how to put on a show.

I was only able to see John Legend in concern once. That is when he opened up for Alicia Keys. So you know how long that was. But I did see him perform for some dignitaries. He did this event I worked at where he got on top of the piano. We were more worried about the piano than we were him, it was rented. They folks that own the piano don't take too kindly to people standing on their property, in shoes. LOL

    URBAN!!! I've missed you!

The show was awesome...JL did that thing where he stands up on top of the piano at the very end of the concert. I couldn't get a good picture of it (because I was yelling and screaming and clapping too hard)...LOL...

"I have to feel something from the artist"

That's they way I feel about my music, especially when you're talking about spending 40/50/60 bucks. I mean, if it's some 10 dollar night club thing, I can go a little easier; cause I'd pay that to go to the club anyway.

And it's funny your choice was between Legend and Fox. I just went to my first concert about 3 weeks ago, and mine was between India Arie and Fox. India's show was great. She had just come off touring with Legend.
