    I really liked the song and it is so fitting for 2008. Who was the singer? the voice reminds me of Nina Simone. I can't wait to see what 2008 will birth!

    The one and only Nina Simone! I love the "Verve Remix" of her music. That's the version in the video. Wonderful woman and artist. I miss her brand of fierce blackness and talent.
